Yes, I read all 50 some words of your post... it was a tough read, but I managed to make it through to the end. I especially loved the part where you added new ground points, essentially bypassing the original and probably partially corroded original grounding points... and proved exactly what I was saying in my original post, that "power" grounds do nothing that cannot be achieved by cleaning a corroded ground point.
