Potenza RE730, S-02, and S-02 Pole Position

Potenza RE730, S-02, and S-02 Pole Position
Does anyone out there have first hand experience with the difference between the Potenza tires that are available? I know that the RE730's are slightly lower in quality than the S-02's, but in what respects? Is braking, cornering, or any other type of performance noticably affected with the RE730's? And what about the S-02 Pole Positions vs the Standard Potenza S-02 tires? Any opinions?

Ive used all three, and I am very happy with the RE730's
currently 245/45 zr16 and 225/50 zr16 but will go back to the 205/55 in front next time.
I feel the bad wear and handling of the PP's arent what I want to put up with for good wet weather performance.
The PP's when new have deep and wide water grooves and that causes tread squirm, feels a bit fishy when making quick turns.
The RE730's are very good all around and Im getting alot more miles out of them - some people question me when I say they have just about the same grip as the stock SO-2's. Thats just because they see a tread wear rating of 300 and think there is no way its going to stick, well they do.
Some have suggested the SO-3's, I havnt tried them yet but they sound good.
BFG Comp T/A's were OK but I spun out at 60mph/rain when the tread got low.

I didnt set up a test for braking, but have a set of the RE730's so I could possibly do a test brake run.
I couldnt really compare dry braking since I never broke traction with any of the tires when braking when dry.
I have plenty experience drifting and alot of lost traction in the rain
The only thing I would say negative about the RE730's is (and Im not even halfway through the rears yet) they are riding a bit rough, meaning just a bit more road noise than the stock's.
They do stick pretty well, and are exellent in wet conditions, and the 245/45 16 even have a wider footprint than the stock So-2's
Impossible you say? well they are at about 8.5" footprint and stock are about 8" but the RE730's have a center groove also, yet pretty thick tread blocks. Maybe that is what helps lateral grip.
As for those PP's I got 7000miles out of them (rear) but that tread squirm gave me an uneasy feeling. BUT I could not slide the rear anywhere near as easy as stock or bfg's(in the rain). I think the smaller contact patch gave a greater PSI to the ground helping out wet grip but hindering longevity.
I would recommend the RE730's for a street car (daily driver/weather) and stocks or slicks for track.
