post oil change blues

this is extremely bizzarre. i changed my oil again last weekend, and exactly the same results. my butt dyno estimates i lose about 40 horsepower after the oil change. it seems to gradually come back. the first 50-100 miles, you can barely even feel the switchover to the big lobes at 6000rpm. the low end feels the same.

i have checked the level a dozen times, and it is perfect, at 4 on the dip stick.

i thought full was 5 x's...

btw this is exactly why i plan on sticking with conventional 10w30
