possible to do oil change?
i am going to attempt my first oil change on the s2000. is it possible to jack up one side of the car and placing only one jack stand on the front side jacking point? then reach under to remove the drain bolt and lower the car to drain the oil?

Yes it is possible, not as easy as two jack stands...but it is definitely possible. Jack the car up from the driver side area to tilt the car in a way that would let the oil drain out easier and more.

In fact, in some ways it's better not to use 2 jack stands. It puts the car in an unnatural position for draining.
I do this: jack up the car on either side, secure it with a jack stand, remove plug and let it start to drain, remove jack stand and lower car. Come back in 15 minutes, jack it up, replace stand for safety and replace plug, then fill. That way the car drains level and if you are using a good jack it takes all of 10 seconds to lift/lower.

Whatever you do, don't get under your car without jack stands! I've had a car fall on me and nobody was around to help. Many years of mental healing after my escape.

This is the exact same way i do it.
