Is it possible to do a 'fly by wire' to throttle cable conversion?

The same comments Billman made were made above. Some people even went into surface depth about the conversion itself.

Read the original post. It all smacks of troll thread.

Either that, or the OP was massively autistic or something, and we weren't able to answer his question with the pinpoint specificity he was looking for. In which case, I feel like a jerk for calling him a troll.
i think you misunderstand. by peanut gallery i'm referring to the usual list of contributors. my second line confirms that i did read the OP.

Trolling, gaslighting, and casting shadows are a sad part of today's social media.

And some folks are very clever at hiding their true intentions.

Such games.

I am partial to the AP1 for the quicker steering and the higher red line but the thing I really can't stand is fly by wire in the later ap2's. The deal is good enough I'm wondering if it's possible for me to do a conversion back to a throttle cable. Has anyone done this? Heard of it? Potential problems doing it? Thanks in advance.
If you can buy a pristine 2008 for a good price you should jump on it. Drive it for a few months and if you can't stand the drive by wire throttle then sell it for a profit. I felt fully connected to my 2006 S2000 and never felt the throttle (or clutch delay valve) was an issue, best driving car I've ever owned. Didn't want an AP1 for a variety of issues, the extra 700 RPM was never anything I worried about. BTW I flew Fly by Wire aircraft for 20 yrs (Airbus) and there was way more lag in the flight controls than I felt in the throttle of the S2000.
