Is it possible to do a 'fly by wire' to throttle cable conversion?

I didn't have my glasses on. Could read between the lines.

... fly by wire is a commonly used term...there is absolutely a throttle delay especially during the blip for downshift...can we try to keep the responses free of insecurities and pointless posturing? Thanks.

Have you driven a 06+ S2000? I had an AP1 and was afraid I'd hate the DBW because the only DBW car I had driven at the time was an 06 Civic EX. The Civic was a miserable driving experience due to rev hang and delayed throttle response. Couldn't drive that thing smoothly to save my life. Getting out of the AP1 to the DBW S felt pretty natural. You do feel the heavier flywheel and maybe there is a very miniscule delay. If there is, it's almost imperceptible. If there's a significant delay, maybe something is wrong with the car? The DBW in these is implemented very well and being able to flash a tune is very nice.

Got it. So you've not driven a DBW S2000, and you don't want to answer because you're sure you're correct already and its scary for you to think otherwise.
My guess is that you've driven another period correct Honda (likely a 06+ Si or 04-08 TSX) and made the determination based on those cars' awful DBW response.
See my response above, answering your question regarding the swap to cable throttle.

BUT now that the sequence of events is corrected, lets move on.
Tell me. How can we get you into a DBW S2000 today?

We were all trying to discuss. You said "just answer my question" even though I already had. Then I made a very astute and shockingly correct, yet snarky statement.

We have never converted a DBW to an earlier non-DBW. This is fine, too.
Next question.
