Possible Burt Valve

Possible Burt Valve
Ok well here is my delema.
I bought the car about a month ago all while i was looking at it and test driving it not one code... I even ran the thing through a code reader and everything was fine.
Got it home and started it the next morning and a CEL came one. Missfire cylinder 2 and p1399.
Ran it though all sorts of diagnostic work and found that there is low compression on cylinder 2.
1,3,4 all have 215psi and 2 has 140psi.. still within max/min spec, well out of the 28psi variance.
Did a wet compression check and all readings went up 15psi... to my knowledge that does not mean that there is a lower half problem.
Did a leakdown test and all but cylinder 2 were within 10% that was at like 30%.
I could not however determine where the air was leaking too. I bought a mechanics stethoscope and still could not hear the air.
I have already check all the electronics up to the point of the helms manual says check the compression.
I already have done a valve adjustment and all were within spec.
What is my next course of action?

By 'wet compression check' you mean putting oil in the cyl and then cranking?
Do a leakdown test, any good qualified shop will do it. then you'll know if it's an exhaust cyl, intake, valve guides, etc.
But that cyl 2 comp is not that good. I mean 230 psi wet (right?) and 155 #2?
Not good at all.
Leakdown test will tell.

I know that the compression on cylinder 2 is not good... thats why i continue to get a misfire... already know what cylinder it is on i just need to know where it is leaking.
Can i use a leakdown tester fitting and put more air into the cylinder so i can hear it?
Because when i was doing the test initially there was only like 10 psi and i could not really hear the air.

well took it to a shop and they re-diagnosed it and found that it was indeed a burnt exhaust valve on cylinder 2. They are pulling the head today and will see what other issues arise.
