You basically turn the piston while adding pressure. It can be tedious. I recommend picking up a special tool from Halfords
Make sure you line up th X so the tab on the inside pad lines up with the groove.

Thanks - I've studied the ESM and I think it is too much for me, need my new lines and fleuid doing too so I might just go to a brake specialist rather than pay Honda hourly rates
