Firstly welcome aboard. Secondly please excuse the idiots including those with enough stars by their name to know better. Oh the shame. That said the AP1 takes 4.8 quarts, 5.1 with a filter change, and 5.9 after a rebuild (Ref: Honda '00-'01 Factory Manual). Most SC's take a bit more; but not much. Fill as noted and check your dipstick. Reading the stick is problematic on an AP1. Look at both sides of the stick and use the lower of the two.
