Default Please help my friend.

Sup everyone, You probably wondering why a Celica peep is wandering around here. It's pretty simple, I'm trying to help one of my fiends out(he shy on the message board scene <login: flyboy1504>).

About a 3 weeks ago my best friend just bought a S2k (still awaiting delivery). He's looking to find a short shifter and some one that makes a hard top conversion similar to what the MR-S's have. I did some searching around and we can't find anyone that sells the above items (probably because I'm searching in the wrong channels). Please let me know if anyone comes across any one of the items. Thanks

marketplace link above.

2300 on aluminum hard tops.

short shifter? the S already is a short shift. I have not seen one of these on the board yet.

look at the bottom of signatures for someone that has one listed as a "mod" and Pm them for details on where they got it.

The only way I know of to make the S2k shift any shorter is to install a Voodoo shift knob - available through Rick's (board sponsor).

If the shifter was any shorter you have to stick your finger in the transmission to shift.

Thanks for the input everyone. I personally didn't think he needed a SS for his car(it seemed short enough as it was).

There is a company, C's, that makes a short shifter for the S. I believe it was designed for a RHD car and therefore the shifter will sit angled to the right. here is a link to a thread that describes the problem and has a link to where to buy it.
