PLEASE help me identify this hose that keeps bursting with holes
I know this is a coolant hose. It had a hole in it, so I replaced it with another hose at Kragen. They only had "Fuel Line Hoses" available. They said it should be fine. I installed the hose 5 days ago and all of a sudden a big hole went on the side and was shooting coolant EVERYWHERE. My engine heat went up and smoke was coming out. Why is this particular hose going bad WEEKLY? I can't identify which hose.. here are some pictures..., HELP

which hose should I buy? Do I have to buy the 20$ OEM hoses or are fuel line hoses enough?

That line comes from the Idle Air Control mechanism BUT it should have gone through the intake manifold first. Somebody by-passed it. It's supposed to heat up the throttle body on cold days. By-passing it may put more pressure on the line than normal.

I bought a regular coolant hose from honda, but it was for another car. Would this work or should I buy the s2000 specific hose? Looking at the diagram, what part would it be?

In order to use the stock hoses, you need to undo the by-pass. As it is, it doesn't matter what hose you use. It just has to go from point A to point B.

Dude wash youur engine bay, take care of your car. It looks like a craphole down there. My GF would leave me if she saw my s2k engine bay in that condition.

I would dump that girl if she wanted to break up with me for such a stupid reason anyway. As long as the oils are clean, it's a perfect machine. Not everyone is OCD about how the car looks under the hood.

Get a hose made from silicone. they come with k&n or comptech intakes.
use spring clamps, not screwdriver style clamps.
find my procedure on s2000 coolant bleed and get all the air out.
That hose will last longer than the car...trust me.
