please HELP
so i had a transmission fluid slow leak, i took it for inspection today and they told me that I'm missing a bolt and a little spring on the transmission casing and that may be the reason why it drips fluid !? any ways does any of you recognize this bolt in the picture and what is its function ? i ordered one and it takes a week to get it.
Here's the picture of the missing bolt

Those are there to keep pressure on the shifting forks for the gears. This helps hold the forks in place. There is also a steel ball that goes in first, followed by the spring, which are both held in by the bolt. Be sure you ordered the ball, the appropriate spring (they're different lengths), and the bolt. But yes, it'll definitely leak with that missing, you may or may not experience a gear or two that seem to pop out on its/their own. There's usually 2 balls/springs/bolts for each fork, so one may be holding it enough for you to not notice. Good luck!
