Did you have the CVs apart? You can't see if they are pitted if you don't.

So I've posted all those pictures for nothing?
And worried and worried for..... nothing!?

Anyway.. why not balance the rear wheels too?
(or did you allready do that and I missed it?)

Lol, thanks for caring

I had new rear tires put on a few weeks ago...praying not to see a bend in the wheel.

My next guess aside from further cv inspection is to do a full wheel swap with the stock set I have.

If I come up with nothing then I have no choice but to swing it by the dealership for a diagnostic...i guess.

Update:

Given that the rear diff Seemed to be within spec I went ahead and purchased new DSS stage 2 axles.

The issues now are different, I only get vibration under throttle/load, when cruising its not even really noticeable but if I go WOT from 2nd gear on then you can really feel it.

I will be giving DSS a call tomorrow to see what they think.

The vibration still 'feels' like its coming from the same area.

Any thoughts?

Yes, they are entire new axles (both cv joints).

I did not get an alignment afterwards since I didn't think it was needed, but I can if its recommended.

I only get a vibration when I get on the throttle now...which is normally an axle related issue but I am unsure what I can do to remedy it.

Depending on how much was disassembled to get those fine lookin' axles in it could very well be you need an allignment (or get it checked)
I'm not sure if it will solve the vibrations you are describing though.
Maybe lots of toe-in or toe-out causes those vibrations?

New axles should not vibrate....

You are lowered right?
Did you get the spacers too?
(to put the CV's back at their recommended angle)
That said I do not know if new CV's also need them.

Well I wouldn't doubt I need an alignment though I am skeptical on whether or not if would get rid of the vibration (I guess if the alignment was the issue then it would happen almost all the time, not just on load).

The car is lowered on tein s-techs.

The DSS stage 2 axles are longer then the stockers to make up for the short stockers and for lowered s2ks.

DSS said to remove the axle nut and see how far I can push the cv 'out' of the hub (toward the diff), he said I should have about 1"-1.5" of movement.

The car goes back into the shop in a day or two for a new abs sensor that they broke, at that time I will have them test the 'play' of the shaft when removing the nut.

thanks so far

Have them check the wheel bearings as well.
Thats where my bets now sit.

suprisingly when I had the axles installed I also had them replace a stud and in this process they had to press out the drivers side wheel bearing (same side the vibration feels like its coming from) and mentioned that it seemed perfectly fine.
sigh.
