i have an 05 with CDV, stock suspension/ride height, never launched and the CV cups pitted at around 60k. swapped the left and right cups, worked okay for a little bit then it exploded. ended up replacing with OEM cups.

I still have the CDV in my 04, and autocrossed for several years street modified class becuase I had a lowered suspension. I did get the vibrations and eventually went back to stock springs, and the vibration went away. That was years ago and no problems since.
