Default Pistons

Hi, I went to Majestic Honda site and notice there are 3 different type of Piston sets for MY03. How can I identify wich is the one for my 2003 model. This are the product description from their site.

Part# QTY Description

395250 001 (4) PISTON SET (OS 0.25)
1092994 001 4 PISTON SET A (STD)
1092995 001 4 PISTON SET B (STD)

Thanks
Ralph

First set is oversized for rebore. Other two are A and B tolerance range. I think you need to know what you currently have to match the pistons to the bores unless there is something on the outside of the block to tell you (doubt it).

The block's casting indicates which piston set was originally installed. The stamping is on the block's deck near cylinder #1. If the piston has a letter "A" or no indication, it's A, else the set B always has a B on the piston.

make sure u check the bore size before u order the pistons... you don't want to order either A or B only to find out the piston to wall clearance is too wide due to excessive wear
