Hey ive had this vibration on my ap1 for a while and now its getting worse when i exceed 60mph, its coming from the rear of the car and also vibrates if im not on the throttle. ive swapped the cup and its not that amd i already have the spacers in.

I took it in to a workshop a couple of weeks ago which doesnt specialise in honda but is a good mechanic and honest and he said there is a lot of freeplay where the gear pinions are and thats whats causing the vibartion and the diff specialists he send his work to said he didnt wanna touch it because he had to pull the whole thing apart to exactly pin point the problem.

should i get a 2nd opinion?

Has anyone had a problem similiar?

Have you drained & checked the diff fluid?

No, I checked the level of it recently but haven't drained it in a while? Am I looking for something in particular?

Look for excessive metal in oil. Burnt oil. Etc.
