thats a good idea but its illegal in some states, and it won't pass emissions testing. just to let you know.
actually, im running open header with my accord now(top end is incredible, but lowned torque sucks) and only install the whole exhuast system when its time for emissions

I'm running a custom piece with no muffler. It's sad when with a loud exhuast, you can hear the rattling cat. It's also embarrasing b/c older used cars make as much noise as my clunker on warm up. Have you guys checked how much our cats cost at the dealer? yes...they list for over $800. what a joke.

I am curious to see how many people with deteriorated cats have leaned out their fuel mixture with either an aftermarket ECU or piggy back controller? Could the leaning be the cause of the failing cats? BTW, mine is making rattling on start up. I thought it may have been the exhaust. I'll take off the heatshields and see if that helps.
