It is a very nice kit, but I like the idea of having more power throughout the RPM range that a twin screw set-up offers, rather than the centrifugal's concentration of added power in the upper ranges. Having said that, I'll probably end up with the Comptech kit at some point.

Interesting. In Calgary, we have predominantly YELLOW hydrants. These indicate that they are "self draining", so they don't freeze up in winter. Then we also have a few RED ones. These must be pumped out after each test or use. Also, there are other odd colors but I think this is because someone with water works decided it would be a neat "trick".
