Default Pics of Above Car Oil changes??? also a How to???

Hey everyone... Ive read up on many people changing their oil from right under the hood rather than crawling under the S. Anyone have any pics of that? I want to change my own oil and filter, esp since i dont trust those dealer service guys with my S.

Also, maybe a how to... is 10W30 good with 15K miles on a MY02? Also, how much oil does she need? Thanks everyone... its a basic question, but I appreciate the help.

theres only one true way of changing your oil from uptop that i know of, and that would be to use a pump to empty your motor of all the oil via the dipstick hole. i watched rick hesel do this at fall colors a few years ago and thought it was pretty neat until it was time to swap the filter.
you'll have to put a pan underneath the car to catch the oil from the filter removal, so you might as well just pass on spending the $$$ for the oil pump thing and get yourself a $25 fumoto valve and a drain pan. with this set up, i'm literally under my car for a total time of 2 minutes tops and dont need any tools.

as for your question on oil weights, there are quite a few amazing threads on this board suggesting what you should use. i personally use mobil1 10w30 and honda pcx filters every 2500 miles like clockwork.

oh yeah, if youre not lowered, try to find a pan that'll fit under the car w/o jacking it up. that should cut down your oil change time even more.

Get 6 qts. With filter change, put in 5 qts, run the car for a couple of minutes and check again after the oil has settled and top up. You'll need at most, another 1/2 qt. But better to let it sit overnight and check it first thing in the morning, then top up.
What's wrong with crawling under the car?

In case you haven't seen this:
