Default The Perfect X brace is?

I see there are so many out there and each one slightly different. In terms of strength, are they all equal? Whats the lightest one? Do they all get in the way during an oil change? I am looking for one thats lightweight(i read the Spoon one is on the heavy side), is sturdy and doesn't make oil changes a mess. Thanks ahead of time.

Since they all basically do nothing for performance, buy the cheapest X-brace.

Something that might be usefull in conjunction with this modification would be one of those bolt in valves for oil changes. You could simply feed a hose to the end of the valve, flip the switch and drain the oil to a pan. With this combo you wouldn't need to worry about spacial concerns. Then again, you could always just wipe any spilled oil off the X-Brace.

My apologies, but I don't have a thread saved in my favorites discussing one of the valves. I'm too lazy to search too, but I bet somebody might chime in that knows what I'm talking about.

My vote is for the Muz/WhiteLine.

It's light, cheap, and doesn't interfere with oil changes.

What do you mean they do nothing for performance? The car handles noticeably better. Personally I got the Muz/Whiteline brace... mostly because it was the least expensive.

I'm in the process of selling off a lot of my mods and the brace is one thing I will NOT part with... its just an awesome upgrade.

IMO the Muz/Whiteline is the best bang for the bucks!

IMO, the DiGrappa brace (Rick's Billet X-Brace) has the nicest engineering and form.

I have the Spoon brace and I did notice a subtle difference when taking corners. The car is stable and less twitchy around long hard sweepers. The Spoon brace does get in the way during oil changes, but that is remedied by using some aluminum foil (forgot the original poster of this) shaped into a V that channels oil away from the brace. Takes like 10 seconds to put the foil in place.

I got the white line brace, and I'm happy as a pig in $hit with it.
