Default Pedal engagement VS heel-toe

At full threshold braking my brake pedal is far passed the surface of my throttle.

Meaning im accidentally hitting the gas before i want to for some heel-toe action.

Is there any way to adjust the brake to engage farther up? similar to the clutch adjustment? i didnt see one (or i didnt look hard enough)

For the throttle I've adjusted the cable play and added on top of the rubber bumper behind the pedal linkage (not the runner shock absorber on the cable) to set it back as far as possible but its still not enough.

Any more and i lose ability to go WOT.

Next step is to add maybe 1/4"-3/8" aluminum onto the face of the brake to essentially move its engagement datum that way, but i'd rather a more elegant solution...

any ideas?

How worn are the pads? When was the last time you bled the brakes?
A simple gravity bleed might be all you need.

As suggested, bleed the brakes first. My pedal doesn't go much beyond the accelerator pedal even when braking hard.

Yeah, in fact I find just the opposite, I sometimes can't get enough throttle when I blip, but I mostly use the side of my foot.

Going to stainless steel lines will help firm up the pedal as well.

When I bled mine it went from pretty low to very high and firm. And I don't have SS lines. Full braking power feels like only an inch or 2 of pedal travel or so (this could be completely erroneous, but that's just how it "feels" to me).

Edit: it also took me several hours of driving to gain the pedal pressure feel the difference. you may already know that, but just don't jump in the car, start driving and then be like "aw sheeeet it didn't work" lol

hahaha yea thats what i thought last night as i moved the car 20 ft into the garage. the drive to work felt better and better along the way.

definitely engages higher, so within a few days i figure itll be right at where i want it.
