Password JDM chamber ram air induction kit HELP FITTING

Hi, I have just recieved my new password jdm chamber induction kit and I'm having trouble fitting the silicone coupler onto the power chamber (the silicone bit between intake manifold and power chamber). It seems too small and doesnt stretch over the carbon power chamber. Has anyone experienced the same problem and can give me some advice please?

Wipe a small amount of dish soap (Dawn or the like). Put the coupler on a slight angle and get the edge started. Then carefully twist it on. On the AP1 that rubber is larger on one end but I can't remember which one. This intake is a bitch to install but there are a few good threads here. Once in it is one of the best! I run it and have tested a dozen or so over the years. PWJDM fit and workmanship are marginal for the price. But awesome intake.
