no adjusting the seat doesn't work, head of seven is rite, its the seat itself

Putting a GF in the seat just results in bitching and possibly marriage

Mine does it too...my03 with 50K miles. Ain't the spare because when my wife is in the seat it doesn't rattle. Rail bolts are tight. I agree that its the seat mechanism. But its a drop top with a fairly firm suspension. I expect rattles and squeaks. Try driving a C-5 corvette sometime.

Sorry to steal the OPs thunder but when I tried to remove my passenger seat for the 1st time one of the bolts just freely spins and won't come out. Any ideas?

[QUOTE=nightcrawler7188,Jun 7 2007, 03:23 PM] this happens to me too. if it's the same as mine, the problem is not that the seat is loose.

it's not the spare, top or the bolts for the seat, it's the reclining mech. has too much "play"

yea i can see the back of the seat moving back an forth whle the bottom of the seat is solid. I looked around and found a bolt between the pivot of the seats back and the center of the car. I always keep the seat all the the way back and reclined as much as possible. YEA, i guess it could be hitting the plastic behind it. Ill try to move it tomorrow.
if this doesnt work...im gonna try to tighten the bolt.

AND, i hung out with this girl today. took her for a spin and no noise. I had a good time though...thought you might like to know =D
