Passenger door lock doesn't respond anymore
it a 2000 S2000
I went out to lunch today and hit the unlock button 2 times on the key fob to let someone in. The pass. door never unlocked...so i did it again and nothing...i did it again and nothing. So i unlocked it manually.
We drove to Mighty Taco got out and I locked it hitting the lock button 2 times to hear the car beep. I look and the pass. door is still unlocked. i did this again and the pass. door does nothing.
Could it be on a different fuse or something. Im lost hear and really dont feel like taking the door apart.
What do you guys think?

well
i put my ear to the door and as i try to unlock and lock it it can hear something going on in there...so im thinking it might still be getting power.
do you think its possible that something could have poped off if someone slammed the door shut?
which btw i cant stand and tell people all the time not to slam it, but every now and then you get someone who doesnt listen or cant learn

How hard was it to pop off the panel?
it must be behind the weather seal right?
you think it might be a door lock actuator too rikhemi?

cheek out the Electronics forums for a diy on how to take off the door panel. than just pull back the weather sealing, and than there should be 2 or 4 screws holding on the door lock actuator.
