Paintless Dent Removal Question
I have a small dent on the driver side far rear fender kind of near the rear taillight. I had a step ladder that bumped into it a while ago. It's creased in somewhat and is probably the size of a golf ball. I pulled back some of the trunk liner, but it seems like there is structure there. Does anyone know if this can be removed using PDR. thanks for any advice.

I doubt as its creased

Call your local PDR guy and report back, they can sometimes perform miracles.
Unfortunately the rear QP is the hardest part to repair on our cars since it's part of the frame/welded on, so you wouldn't replace that even if you wanted to.

Thanks. I didn't know that. I assume then that if PDR can't fix it, they would bondo fill it, sand, repaint the quarter panel?

Take the tail light out and check.
Rear access is not always necessary, a high end PDR guy will reverse the dent with a glue plug from the outside, then PDR it level. I’ve seen it done in that exact spot, and the dent was 3 times the size of yours.

If the PDR is able to remove the dent but there is some paint issue that cannot be corrected, don't be tempted to have the quarter panel re-painted. It will take some doing but find some shop that deals with high end cars/supercars that can do miracles on small paint jobs that will match without the classic "let us do the whole thing" approach most standard body shops give you.
Good luck.

they may need to drill an access hole if there isn't a straight access area for the dented area, not a big deal, my s2000 had some access holes drilled for that purpose before I bought the car, never an issue on my car .

This is how my quarter panel looked before PDR.It had way more dents that are not visible.on.the pic.The guy had to remove the tail light to gain access to some of them. Also had to drill a small hole in.the door jam to reach others.Plug the hole afterwards with a special rubber plug.Awesome job..I am in Florida though..good luck!

The interior pieces of the trunk are pretty easy to remove or move out of the way so it may be accessible that way. PDR guys can work some miracles so see who is the recommended pdr guy in your area and contact them.
