Painful Overrev

Painful Overrev
Hey guys, a couple of days ago I blew up my engine due to a painful overrev, from 2nd gear missed 3rd and instead engaged 1st by accident
It all happened too fast.... Lots of smoke came out of the exhaust and lots of coolant came out of the intake, I disconnected the intake and there were metal pieces inside the intake manifold that you could see by opening the throtlle body, I haven't taken the engine apart yet so I dont exactly know how bad is the damage, Im no mechanic expert but I assume my engine is completely destroyed. The car doesnt start and it feels like the motor is stuck.
So I wanted to ask you guys, what could be the best thing for me to do in this case, I was thinking:
1: Repair my engine (if it can be repaired)
2: Buy another F20c/F22c (Would like to know whats the best place for me to get one, I live in South Florida)
3: Get a different swap like a K20/K24, LS, 2JZ (The reason I've thougt about this is because of price, from what i have seen our engines are pretty expensive, idk how much cheaper or more expensive would it be to do one of those swaps)
This would be my first time doing something like this, if anyone with more knowledge can chime in and help me out, would be gladly appreciated.
Thanks.

If you plan on swapping anything you listed there multiply the cost of a f22/f20 x 4 at least unless you're doing all the custom fab work yourself. That being said you need to have someone familiar with these cars look over the engine and see what can be salvaged no reason in running out and buying a new engine when you don't even know exactly what's wrong with the old one.. Post up in your area's subforum and see who you can help.

I'd think a replacement engine -- or car -- will be the most cost effective solution. Rebuild labor costs will be staggering.

Buy another F20C and part out your motor, at least what's possible. I bought an F20C on here for $2000 shipped and parted out my motor that spun a rod bearing for about ~1000.
Had a shop do the swap for about ~600 bucks. They broke the knock sensor and missed a few things but all in all not bad.

I wouldn't bother rebuilding it. Its probably not possible to rebuild it, based on what you're saying.
If you have to ask the internet how to do a 2JZ or LS1 swap...then its likely not for you. Its difficult and expensive.
Find another F series. Swap it in.

Thanks for all the replies, I will see if I can find someone knowledgeable on this matter so we can see how badly damaged it is.
These are the pieces that I was able to get from the intake manifold:
