P1399 P0300 P0301 P0302 after washing engine bay
I washed my engine bay yesterday , i blew dry engine bay with air to get it as dry as possible before turning it up. At first i did not see any CEL but after about 10 minutes of idling and was about to go for a quick test drive, i see the following CEL pop
P1399 (pending fault) - Power Train
P0300 - Random/Multiple cylinder misfire detected
P0301 - Cylinder 1 misfire detected
P0302 - Cylinder 2 misfire detected
i checked cylinder 1 and 2 both are bone dry, i dont see any water in there. cleared the code , idled for 10 minutes and went for a 5 minute drive, no CEL.
next morning, i let it idle for 5~10 minutes, no CEL but shortly after i did a few empty revs and same CEL came back.
for the sake of just checking, i checked Cylinder 3 and 4 and both are bone dry, cleared the code agian and went for a quick test drive (4~5 miles) and no CEL. but i still scanned it with obdii, i got P1399 pending fault code
just wondering what would be the next step before i take it to a shop to get inspected

I would run the car through a few drive cycles and clear any CEL if they appear during your drives. You may have some moisture in a connector that is causing the fault, the drive cycles will likely allow the moisture to evaporate. Hope everything works out for you.

awesome, yea that's what i am hoping for just some connector or sensor that's still wet. unfortunately not my daily driver and it's been raining a lot, hopefully it just dries out and i didnt cause any real damage.

I suppose you could pulled the coil connectors apart, dry them with compressed air. And treat with a good contact cleaner/lubricant. I like Deoxit D100 for all my dirt bike electrical connections. Including grounding points. Keeps moisture and rust out.

lol ok , started it up today and just let it idle, no codes for 5 minutes of idling
i started giving it some rev while in neutral P1399 comes back. then to my surprirse a new code, P2445 - secondary air injections system stuck off bank 1
errr is this something i should just reset and see if it comes back
both code does not throw CEL on the dashboard but i pulled the code while doing the OBDII scan

Yeah, I'd clear the error mess and start over.
Good luck!

I've had my friend throw a P0410 in his 03 S2000 and it was just a bad fuse.
