P1259-vtec malfunction with AFC NEO
hardwired an AFC NEO with rachem crimps and heatshrink insulation. When I adjust the vtec point I get the CEL and the engine is limited to 6-7k.
The check sensor screen shows a hollow '0' vti(vtec input) signal, meaning it's getting no signal.
I clear the CEL, disengage the NEO and the ECU operates the car as normal.
I'd say one of the vtec wires have no connection, I was just hoping someone has had the same issue and can pinpoint it for me before I go cutting in to it.
sorry about the bad phone pic....

It'd be a pain to remove, not much length on original car harness to re-wire it back in then.
I haven't been to a tuner with the car because of this problem, but I'm hoping that the CEL is there because the vtech unmatch isn't professionally adjusted to suit the required fuelling at the new vtec point.
The NEO is wired in series with the ECU on the vtec wire so therefore when the the NEO is not operational the ECU still gets its it's reading through(without using) the NEO.
The ECU operates the car as normal without the NEO.
So I'm thinking its the actual NEO unit itself...

Result! Apexi messed up the wiring diagram for the NEO, they left out the VTM(Vtec oil pressure signal) in their wiring diagram, I spliced it in and my problems went away.
I have the ECU connectors wiring diagram for anyone that needs it, just PM me your email address.
Apologies for not updating my post till now.....
