Just to be sure... a non-fouler spacer is what may work? Thanks!

There are some with a little extensions that specifically prevent this code.

I have had a Berk 63.5mm HFC on a MY03 for three years and have not experienced a CEL, no de-fouler is used either. Got one CEL on a MY06 with a Berk TP and no de-fouler only about a month after install, nothing since but now has a tune.

My OEM cat broke after just 90.000km (~56k miles), what's the best way to check for a rich mixture on a stock S2k?

Running rich would make the cat run a lot hotter and therefore break the substrate, right?

Spark plugs seem fine but I am certainly no expert on cars. (edit: http://imgur.com/a/12Rvr)

I've read about Long Term Fuel Trim (LTFT) via ODBII but my Torque Android App doesn't allow me to check the value

Any input much appreciated

I have the same sort of issue. At first I thought the probe in the CAT snapped off again but I checked it and it's good. I removed and replaced the fuse to the CEL but after ~15 miles the CEL came back on so I bought a new o2 sensor yesterday. Maybe what I need is the spark plug spacer instead.

Just tried the fix with mine. Went 42mi and so far no problems. BTW, the size of the non-fouler for at least the AP1 (don't know about AP2) is 85mm.The Doorman part # is 42002 for the one without the metal gasket and 42009 for the one with the gasket.

died today. maybe

got a p420 code.

i heard as car became louder and then check light came on

could it be that one bolt broke or something else and i have a leak?

because cat has only 13k km

or maybe i'm running lean/rich because this is third cat in 133k km
