P0411 CEL code after installing Injen Intake.
Hey guys, I have the full size Injen intake and after installing it I am throwing the code P0411, I originally put the hoses on the check valve backwards and it was making a constant hissing noise. I called one of my buddies who is more mechanically minded than me and he told me to switch them and I did. Hissing stopped, but the CEL remained. Just wondering if anyone else with the Injen or similar intakes are having this problem. I am just really tired of staring at the CEL on the dash. Thanks everyone!

The code has to do with the secondary air pump. The swapped lines probably threw the code. If you connected them all back properly, clear the code and it shouldn't come back. The code is not specific to the injen (or intakes as a whole), rather, your installation.

While that would be great if that was the case, it isn't. Haha. I have Torque and an OBDII reader and I've cleared it several times and it just comes back

Great post Lariat! Double check Item 1 check valve as it's most common error. Verify all line are correct. Then reset the ECU by disconnecting the battery or pulling the fuse (can't recall which one it is).......

^ you can pull either the fuse or just disconnect the battery. the Torque program doesnt really do well with clearing codes on the s2. ive tried. i have always had to disconnect the battery. now when you do this go look for the idle relearn procedure.

Yeah like everyone else has said, its probably the hoses swapped, since you said you fixed the backwards check valve. I got the same code when I installed my AEM intake, I had swapped the lines with the check valve on the wrong way. Fixed those and CEL was gone.

Hey guys! Thanks to everyone that took the time to reply, I like that a lot about this website. My buddies and I were at a car meet up last night and got to bothering with it, and we narrowed it down to two hoses that could have been hooked up improperly, so we switched them and I cleared the codes. So far I don't have a CEL on! I think when I get home this afternoon I'm going to disconnect the battery or pull the fuse for a while and then do the idle relearn just in case. Thanks again everybody!

Unfortunately the CEL just came back on. Seems to have taken longer this time but it came on when the air pump cut off. I'm not sure what else it could be and the only thing that confuses me about the diagram is that you dont use the metal tubing anymore after installing the intake.
