2004 S2000 I have gotten a P0325 code pop up and a couple days later if not the next day will go away. Happens randomly and have gone through 2 different knock sensors and also cut and ran another wire to the knock sensor from the ecu. OE sensor was doing it roughly 191k miles and replaced 2 different times with a rock auto and import direct to see if it would change anything. Seems to go away after vehicle is driven short distances a few times cycling ignition. Has anybody ran into this issue before? After driving a month with this issue it seems it is happening more often.

Update: Checked wiring diagram and there is a ground wire that goes off from the knock sensor wire right after the firewall and to the back of the engine head ground. Problem solved.

Just had this happen to me 200 miles after changing the knock sensor. Do you have an image of that ground wire specifically? Gonna do some investigating tomorrow…

I dont have a picture of that wire physically just the diagram. Its pretty easy to spot behind the engine head and runs into the loom back to the knock sensor wire.
