Default P0171, P0301, P0300, P0302

I just finished up with an DIY oil change for my s2000.I used an M-104 oil filter, OEM washer, and 10-30 oil. Did everything just like the manual said, even torqued it down to 33ft lbs. After I took my old oil to autozone, I was thinking to myself, "this car is running smooth!". I went outside and turned the car on, very excited to do some vtech pulls on my way home, but i looked down and there was a big ugly yellow Check engine light! I wanted to throw a fit, but didn't and went inside and got the codes.

Car has an K&N intake.

P0304, P0301, P0302, P0300, and P0171
Codes in the 300 range states a cylinder misfire. And P0171 states that the system is too lean. Bank 1 (cylinder number 1 denotes bank 1). Problems caused are:
vacuum leak
fuel system concern
ignition system concern (My started does stick and grind)
MAF- (I sprayed a mass airflow sensor in there, and used compress air to clean it)
H02s/af ration sensor fault.

Has anyone had this problem, and what was the resolution?

My guess is you have a vacuum leak. Or it's that crap you sprayed into the throttle body considering that it only reached your first 2 cylinders.

Your starter has nothing to do with your ignition system.
S2000s have a MAP sensor, not a MAF sensor. Next time, spray your carb cleaner or intake cleaner onto a rag and wipe it down.

Do you feel any hesitation while driving? Check around for a loose vacuum hose. If everything's good, erase the codes and drive it around.

No I didn't spray anything into the throttle body. I just cleaned out the map sensor after the light came on. I have a misfire in cylinders 1 2 and 4. I can hear the exhaust popping. I inspected the spark plugs and they were fine and on spec. I could not find anything wrong with a visual scan of the vacuum lines... Looks like I'm taking it to the dealership tomorrow, because I'm not experienced enough to figure this out. I think the problem is caused by bad injectors, or a vacuum leak like Mike21 said. Another member said it could be bad gas, but I only use Shell 91. Hopefully, its nothing that is devastating. I would hate to see that my engine is in bad shape.

I also noticed this noise, seems like the TCT to me. Can I have your opinions?

I was saving up to buy new brake pads, but now looks like I have to add on a TCT... What do you think? Or is it a catastrophic malfunction?

That doesn't sound healthy. TCT noise is more consistent and sound more like a playing card on bicycle spokes. I'd have someone take a look at it asap.

Yeah that's what I thought as well, and after searching the forums it seems like the TCT has a faster tick to it. And it doesn't sound like valve noise? The noise goes away after I blimp the throttle. I have never mechanically over revved the engine. I don't even think I redlined the car yet, I shift at 8400k

Sounds like a spun bearing Did you fill oil up and check it after you ran it a bit? If you filled it up on the lower end of the dip stick and didn't check the back-side of it (which is always lower), the filter actually siphons another 1/2 quart (I think?) out of the oil pan's normal level. That could have caused you to run low, which caused under oiled, which caused spun bearing. I'd start preparing to hear some bad things, though I hope it's not.

That would be very very bad... ... I read the owners manual and it called for 5.1 quarts of oil. And followed this DIY, everything down to the tools and torque specs. I bought a 5qt container valvoline premium conventional oil. 10w30. I filled up the oil filter half way up before installing it onto the car. Than I poured in 4.7 quarts. I checked the engine level and it was in the middle of the acceptable range. I turned on the car and allowed it to get to temperature and checked the engine oil again. It still was not to the top of the acceptable range. So I poured in another cup or two of oil... When I started the car, the oil pressure light was on for 1 second before turning off. It would of been impossible for the car to have less than 4quarts of oil when I turned it on. At the least 4.3 quarts, with the oil filter 1/2 way filled with oil.

"Get your funnel out and stick it in the oil fill. At this point I generally put in about 4.5 qts. and then check my level. Do this by removing the dip stick, cleaning it, place it back in for a few seconds, and then remove and check. As you can see below I'm in the lower 1/3 of the "good range" cold. This is where I aim for the cold level to leave room for expansion."

I don't think your oil change had anything to do with it. The engine was a ticking time bomb and it finally blew...
