Default P0134 - Need help with O2 sensor

I was recently turbo’d but had to go back to stock so that I can pass emissions testing. The car starts up fine but throws a P0134 code (O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Bank 1 Sensor 1) and at first I thought it was a faulty O2 sensor so I replaced it.

I removed the code and started the car and the code came back on and now it appears to be a deeper issue. Sounds like the ECU can’t see the O2 sensor.

What else should I be checking for? Thanks!

Which o2 sensor did you replace, fore or aft? Front or back?

Did you use one that required cut and splice, or one that plugs into existing harness?

Sorry I wasn’t specific. I replaced the front/primary/bank 1 O2 sensor. It was plug and play, no splicing or cutting into the wires.
