Overheating?

I haven't driven the car at all, except to carmax today. When it overheated I let it cooldown some, then took really slow (35mph) roads to my friends house and back home.
I then drove the rx7 for the rest of the days, and just today I took it to carmax (right around the corner where I live) in which case I was on more slow roads and it only reached 3 bars on the way there.
So no, you will not be getting your cheap rolling chassis buddy.
The pic was one I took as soon as I saw it overheating.

Damn, you're right down the street too! Good luck with it.
It was that carmax (if you're talking about the one on 28) that sold me a 740 that had been hit in the driver's door and not repaired properly.

Odd, Carmax is not supposed to sell vehicles with body damage. That sucks.
It seems to be fixed, so now you really aren't getting your chassis!
They said it might have been an air bubble. They flushed the system (I suggested they flush it), and drove it for 7 miles and had a heat meter to make sure it didn't over heat, and they said it was fine.
So when I drove it home on the highway it stayed at 3 bars. As soon as I got the car I checked the coolant and there was fluid all the way to the top. So it was dangerously low on fluent! Poor baby.
I've learned my lesson, could've been much worse!
