Back when I first got the car about 3years ago. I overreved from 3rd to 2nd for about 1-2sec while running threw the gears getting on the freeway.
To present, no problems yet cept. for a slipping clutch. I'm sure your good since its been quite alot of miles.

how much does a compression test cost? Probably get charged an hour labor, so depends on where you take it.
