Ouch Engine Failure

That would be easiest to find out. I would hate pulling the head to see what kind of damage was done. Mine had a scorred cylinder and had to replace my shortblock. Its not fun.

it's easy just replace the plug with a new one. Obviously the plugs you showed have a defect in them. Replace all the old 6 spark plugs with 6 new ones and you should be good to go.

Uhh there are 4 spark plugs, not 6. If this was caused by a defective plug, the tip would have broken off which would have cause the detonation. That doesnt look like the case since the tip of the plug is still there, but its smashed. It has nothing to do with the plugs apparently. Probably dropped a valve.

oops wrong diagnosis from me then. Im usually pretty good at finding what the problem is. I guess not so much for this one.

Replace all the old 6 spark plugs with 6 new ones and you should be good to go.
Yeah.. we all wish the 2011 S2800 has an inline 6, 2.8 liter making 370 HP @ 10500 rpm.

I imagine the OP switches 4 spark plugs and is looking desperatly for #5 and #6
