Default Opened tranny fluid shelf life

Hey all, I have 2 quarts of tranny fluid left over from previous fluid changes in my garage. It doesnt go bad does it? Prob a silly question but Id rather be sure than put it in the car and find out I need to flush it. Thanks

I don't think it goes bad, but I end up using those leftover part-quarts to flush my fluid pump out before I start pumping the new oil in. Same for the leftovers from diff-oil changes.

As long as the containers are sealed, you don't need to worry about it. Some additives in lubricants can fall out of suspension after lengthy periods of sitting. Occasional turning of the bottles can help with this problem though. Brake fluid is the only fluid I know of that should not be stored for future use after breaking the seal. It can and does absorb moisture/water. Always use fresh brake fluid for your clutch and brakes when servicing.
