It says you've been a member for 8 years, I'm not touching the pink colour thing though, lol.

S2ki used to have the stars. one for each year youve been here. Guess they bought them back. Only paid members, CO's, and mods will show the stars. It allows you quick glance of someones time here.

Oh yeah brake fluid It is totally ok to use some, then cap it and store it. "use brake fluid from a sealed container" means you should never use brake fluid from a bottle that you know has sat uncapped for any lenght of time. Get a bottle that is new to you, use it, cap it, no worries. Store it for a year if you like and use it again. As long as it is TIGHTLY capped. Tight enough that if you put the bottle under water, no water would get in. Brake fluid caps usually have a white sealing disc under the cap. USE IT! Dont lose it.

Moisture and water cuts 100% with brake fluid and there's no way to tell how much got in there. Moisture/water will destroy every part of the brake system. I've seen s2ks with original brake fluid from 2004 and it rusted the calpers so bad on the inside chunks were missing from the caliper pistons. This is why brake fluid has an AGE interval...not mileage.

It's brake fluids job to absorb and dilute moisture and it is constantly doing so. Change every 2-3 years and enjoy trouble free brakes and wicked mileage from all components.

I used about 1/5 of the bottle to clean the clutch master reservoir and I stored it away for a week, when I came back to clean out the box. The clutch fluid was spilled everywhere discoloring the labels of my other containers. The cap was still on really tight but it was still leaking. Maybe it doesn't seal completely after you first open it?

the little paper "seal" makes the difference. without that it will definitly leak. I cna vouce for the factt hat regular fluid changes will preserve the brake parts, my Accord has 180K miles and is 20 almost 21 years old and has original calipers because the fluid gets bled thoroughly every 3 years, as does the S, now 11 years old with original calipers that I can press back in with my thumbs(fronts at least)

if you have a gas heavier than air (i don't know, some welding gas -argon maybe- i'm no welder), use your welding gas (without the arc) to displace the air in the top of the open bottle of brake fluid. put the cap on and that should help keep the moisture out. Motul 600 is shipped with a nitrogen gas seal on the top of the bottle i believe.

the way i look at it, use some brake fluid from a bottle, store it. that same stored bottle as long as its capped, has fluid in it that is much cleaner than anything that your reservoir would be exposed to.

I imagine that any dry gas would be an improvement over room air. A simpler thing you can do it try to only only it on cold non-humid days.
