Default Only one wheel spinning in snow...lsd bad?

So got stuck in my buddies driveway, trying to backout i just spun tires, well tire.....only the passenger rear wheel would spin according to them. Then later when we got it moving but yet still spinning i opened my drivers door and saw the drivers side wheel spinning. Weather they both were or not I am unsure. But as I have been told these cars all come with LSD from factory, and I have been under the impression it should prevent this. Insight?

the diff in the s2000 is torsen diff, it needs some traction for the lsd to work. so when one wheel is lifted off the ground, or has basically no traction (like in snow) the lsd will act like an open diff.

next time that happens you can try to slightly apply the brake which should help transfer some power to the other wheel

yes definitely do this, using the brake should help transfer the power.

Light application of the parking brake will activate the Torsen.

With 2 summer tires in snow no e-brake trick will get you movin'
You'll just have 2 spinning wheels.
And hot rear rotors.
Maybe they will melt some snow for you.....

maybe one of your tires are just frozen stuck on the ground? unless the car actually does move
