A friend and his dad, just broke a lug on his NSX. I think the cost was like 2 bucks.

If you broke it while tightening, then you are seriously overtightening them.

Over tightened lugs can cause a wheel to snap off while driving. There we're a couple of threads like this and people had serious accidents, and a totalled car.

You MIGHT be able to sneak one stud in from the back. If you wanna stop by one night I'll have a look. I got studs.

Figure 45 bucks if all goes as planned.

Yeah a broken stud really isn't a hard fix and the studs literally cost a few dollars so no worries. Sounds like Billman knows what's up he'll have you back on the road in 15 minutes after pulling the car in.

I'll bring you a stud and a lugnut to the meet.

DIY, take 2

Why did I think that our wheel studs were pressed in? Huh, I learned something new today.

i did that one time and i had to replace the whole wheel bearing because their was not enough room to put in another stud from the back. and it was not easy.
