Is it okay to install CAI on 2007 S2k?
Is it okay?
2007 s2k doesn't have hole on side of bumper.
But CAI goes to right side of your bumper.
Does anyone installed CAI on 07 s2k?
Another Q,
If it is okay, Should I go with Injen? or AEM V2?
Which one has better sound?
Thanks.

I don't know how much research you've done, but a CAI won't do much for you. If I were you, I would look into K&N FPK for you '07 instead. That's if you are looking for sound. I would look into buying a snorkle.

7. ECM logic/SSD mode. The ECM/PCM performs several functions after the key is turned off and removed. You must wait at least 15minutes after the key is turned off before unplugging the PCM. If you unplug the PCM while it's performing the SSD (self shut down) tests you can permanently damage the PCM
if u do.. dont unplug the battery so soon.. if u gonna reset the ecu

I installed the F5 CAI (www.f5air.com) in my 07 for about a week. I had to take it out because my Strut Bar would not go back on with the intake, so I had to give up one, so I decided to go with another intake setup.
I can't tell you too much about the sound because I could not hear the difference over my exhaust....

I have the fujita (allensk2's actually) and the sound is great especially at WOT. I've also heard the AEM (regular and V2) and it sounds excellent. It's up to you which one you want to go with.
The K&N FIPK is acutually an intake (not just a drop in filter) which is a popular purchase for many. The difference is that the filter remains in the engine bay, in a similar location to the OEM box. The CAI's mentioned go down to pass side of the car, behind the front bumper.
Lastly, you have to cut a small portion of the undercarrige (plastic piece) to allow the pipe to pass through. It's an easy procedure, just have to be willing to cut your car! there's an excellent write with pics in the Under the Hood/DIYs and FAQs section, one for the Fujita and at least one for the AEM.
