Costco usually sells anything for less than anywhere else, but they do not have many choices. Costco sells only Mobil1 10W30 and once in a while 5W30. Walmart carries more choices of Mobil 1: 0W40, 5W40, 10W30, 15W50 ... And it is less than $21 for 5 quarts bottle in California.

5W40 Mobil 1 is actually better suite your climate and it is recommended by Honda for S2000 too.

oil is the ONLY thing I buy at walmart.. and I park away from everyone next to the silver EVO that always seem to be there

Oil, oil filter for LS400 and battery are the things I am buying at Walmart. It is hard to buy 0W40 and 5W40 at any autopart stores, only place I can find these two types is Walmart and Mercedes dealers.
