Doesnt sound like to much. What type of oil are you using, how many miles on the car, and whats your driving style.
Synthetic burns more, also if the cars not broken in yet, and if your reving it to 9 a lot.

not synthetic ... plan old chevron oil 10w30
My car has about 15k ...and i drive hard , vtec often ....so i guess this is normal huh ??.....seems like alot to me but what do i know
anyway i can burn less than 1 qt ever 1500 miles
if u say vtec less .....i;m going out and buying 5gallon jugs of oil to use between oil changes

I just posted the exact same amount of oil burn in an eariler thread. I believe that 1 qt every 1500 seems about up to par with my amount of burn as well.
I use Mobil 1.
I got an oil change today and asked the head tech at honda about this and he said "Honda allows for up to 1 Qt every 1,000 miles for the s2000, so my usage was within specs and I should not worry"
Needless to say, Moral of the story... BUY that 5 gallon jug and rev the hell out of your car
Don't forget to check oil every other fill up.... That was my error and after 2500 miles, I found I was 3 Quarts low on oil

....omg guess ill be getting that jug ...and never going to synthetic , after all i wont change the oil every 3k as well ....i will go for 6k oil changes and just be sure to top off ...its like getting an oil change within an oil change
