Oil for supercharged motor
I'm installing a Kraftwerks supercharger tomorrow and would like some suggestions on oil to run in the motor. I talked with Kraftwerks and they said they use Torco in their shop. I looked on Torco's site and saw quite a few choices. It seems they recommend racing synthetic (5/30 or 5/40) for supercharged motors. I understand the value of the correct engine oil so want to make sure I start with the correct stuff. I will be racing the car at the track as well. Should I be considering different types of oil for the road vs track?

i know on the site are some UAV analysis charts you can look at. to me, bottom line run a full synthetic oil, i dont have a brand preference per se. i have seen inside of motors that didnt run synthetic, you get browm/black caked shit all over the insides. i have also seen inside synthetic oil run motors, even ones that blew up, and they were clean as a whistle inside. pretty much what i feel is synthetic oil doenst break down and leave deposits inside your motor.
that being said, i run mobile 1 or penzoil full synthetic in stock oil weight, 5w30 or 10w30? cant remember which one is stock weight. i change it every 6 months, since i dont drive the car too much anymore. but when i was all motor and daily driven, i changed it every 5k miles. never burned oil, never had problems at all.
