I put 5w30 mineral oil for 1,000 miles. During this 1k miles, I drove slowly, sometimes low rpm WOT and some Vtec but no higher than 6.5k rpm.
Then I put the Castrol Edge 5w30.

The thing I don't understand is that if I do engine braking higher than 4k rpm, there is no smoke and no smell of oil.

Perhaps the rings aren't seating properly, what kind of rings did you use? Cylinders are honed to provide a fresh surface for rings to wear into and seat in cylinder.

I use oem rings. I also checked the gap of the rings before installation and everything was perfect. Can it be possible that when I compress it with the ring compressor, the oil control rings have turned?
