The turbo only requires a certain pressure of oil and too much can damge the seals and force oil through them. If you tap the oil feed at a high pressure spot you use a reducer to limit the pressure to the turbo. It is simply a screw in fitting with a specific size hole through it.

I have the UR turbo kit but didn't notice any reducer in the fitting that was supplied. Oil feed to the turbo comes from where the factory oil pressure gauge was located and the oil line used to supply the oil to the turbo is an AN-3 line I believe. Should I put a reducer in and is that a high oil pressure area that I tapped into?
