Default oil sending unit to turbo... options?

- just wondering if using a filter attachment (like in the pic below) will work the same as T-ing off the oil sending unit?
- anyone using one of these? will this work on our car?

It will work the same as T'ing the stock oil pressure sender. Depending on your manifold, the Greddy adapter block won't clear the turbo, nor will the stock oil filter on a low mount turbo.

A feed like that should work, but you'll have two layers of adapters if you maintain the stock oil cooler. IIRC, the HKS and Greddy relocator kits both include bungs for either oil feed lines or pressure sensors built into a block just like what you have pictured.

I just ended up using the Ultimate Racing oil filter kit. It mounts the filter low and hidden from view in the front of the engine. the biggest reason why I chose it is because it uses the lowest profile block adapter I have seen and retained the stock oil cooler. With a 4" inlet on a turbo sandwiched beside the block, there's not much room

Make sure you've got a reducer no matter where you get the oil from

I don't think location is going to matter to much. I'm curious if a restrictor is required to prevent to much pressure from damaging the turbo's seals.

Any comment from turbo owners?

What do you mean by this? What is the reducer for?
