So... did an oil change today and read up about the Mobil 1 consuming AP1's motors (or atleast in the early years). So this time about I threw in Q Horsepower (recommendation from another s2k owner for an oil that doesn't seem to be burned off) however after only filling with 4 quarts I was still a quart low.... Only thing I had left was a quart of Mobil 1 10w-30 (same weight as the 4x quarts of Q), so for the sake of running a non oil deprived car (as this is my only car) I decided wth and added it. My question is will running different brand synthetics be an issue in my car? Should I just go ahead and drain it tomorrow and refill it with all Q Hp?

Honestly, I wouldn't lose sleep over this. Mobil 1 is a quality oil. If they are both 10w30, go ahead and add it in. Perfectly safe. As the manual states, just check your oil level regularly regardless of what oil you use.

Q horsepower good stuff. i have yet to burn any since i've ran it runs smoother as well. and yes about 5.5 is what our cars take
