Honda's vary a lot. Most won't have the same numbers at all. According to many tuners 15+ psi at idle is good. Cruising most see around 75 psi or so I think.

Yeah I have seen those numbers as well. Think those are for as soon as the car reaches normal operating temps. When you drive around more the numbers go down a bit as the oil heats up and thins out.

Yeah specs were for 176 F

update....
new gauge and fittings
start up idle up for cold start
1200rpm @ 85psi

By kent876 at 2011-09-26

900rpm @ 37psi
warm engine fan came in once

my only assumption left would be that the metal shaving found in the oil filter were from the new camshafts since that was the first oil change since their installation. the cams show signs of wear @ points where in engages with older oem parts so maybe they are just breaking in???

sorry about that but i didnt think it affect oil pressure so i didnt bother to mention that my f20c motor is in a ae86
