Oil pouring out of Oil Pressure Switch

Oil pouring out of Oil Pressure Switch
Just installed a brand new short block and swapped over my old oil pressure switch from my old block. I've tested the switch and it works (i.e. there's continuity with the engine off, and no continuity with the engine running). Oil is literally pouring out the side of it (i.e. between the threads) at a rate of ~1 qt/minute, even with lots of Teflon tape. Any idea?

Sounds like the threads are split open from overtightening. The threads are tapered and overtightening can easily crack the head.
Clean it off with brake cleaner.
Watch it with a light while someone else starts the car. you may find the source is coming from a crack.
